In 2008 Morpeth Bridge Club celebrates its 40th Birthday. A party was held with a Swiss teams competition.  The event was won by Frank & Janet Springett, Laura Marriot and Cecily Manghan. Photograph of winners  with Club Chair Sue Davies and Director Norman Gray.

The Swan Trophy is played annually between the 4 Bridge Clubs in Morpeth.  The format is 4 teams of 8 players

This year's event was held on the 27th January at Morpeth Golf club.
